Marijuana news from contributing authors and staff writers on the latest in marijuana and medical marijuana
The Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol in Maine, joined by volunteers and supports, held a news conference on October 4 to announce the final push before the election, including the first TV ad for the campaign.
The ad features former Cumberland County Sheriff Mark Dion, who has spent 32 years in law enforcement.
“Question 1 will allow law enforcement to focus on serious and violent crime, while generating millions in new revenue for our state,” said campaign manager David Boyer. “Mark Dion has decades of law enforcement experience and knows first hand that our current marijuana laws are not working, and regulating marijuana is a far better approach.”
