I was super excited to try out this place. It’s a lot closer to me than going to Oregon. The prices are a little higher but a shorter drive. I bought a bunch of edibles. When I got home and tried them they were all hard. Some of them were hard enough the sugar would just crumble if you pinched it. Super grainy because they are so old. All of the manufactured dates were 18 months or more. Some even had a manufactured date in 2024. I usually don’t have to take very many to get the job done but these haven’t really done anything even after taking double and triple of what I normally do. I don’t think you should pay $20+ for edibles that are over 2 years old and the potency is obviously affected. The overall vibe is amazing. The building is beautiful! The product is super old though. I have never paid attention to the MFD. Looked at the other ones I have that were purchased elsewhere and they were all within a few months. It’s a little disappointing that they are selling products that are so old. You can tell just by looking at them and touching them that something is off. Save your time and your money. Go somewhere that sells fresh products! The service was good but when are knowingly selling old products and not mentioning it I have an issue with that. I know it’s my fault for not checking the date but honestly I have never thought I had to worry about it. I was really hoping to make this my new spot but won’t be back unless you get some fresh products!

We do want to clarify an important part of your review because we never want anyone to believe Yellowstoned is knowingly selling older products at full price or hiding their age from our customers. The older-batch edibles you are referring to are specifically discounted to $5 out the door, and our staff is instructed to let customers know that they are older inventory at the time of purchase. They are not being represented or priced as our current, fresh inventory. We actually contemplated removing these products from our inventory altogether. However, many of our customers specifically enjoy the opportunity to purchase deeply discounted products and use more of their available allotment without spending significantly more. For that reason, we chose to continue offering them at the $5 price while being transparent about what customers are purchasing. Cannabis products do not simply become unusable because of the manufactured date, although age and storage can certainly affect characteristics such as the texture, consistency, flavor, and overall quality of an edible. That is precisely why these particular products are substantially discounted. That said, if what you received was different from what was described to you when you purchased it, we will always make it right. Please bring the products or packaging back to us and speak with our team. We want to know exactly what you purchased and what happened. Our goal is for every person who walks through our doors to have a great experience…from the building and service you mentioned enjoying to the products you take home. We appreciate you giving Yellowstoned a try, and we would much rather have the opportunity to address a disappointing purchase than have you leave feeling that we knowingly misled you.
