All good things must come to an end. The upscale boutique shopping experience at this location has become more of a standard retail experience. As someone that only shops about once a quarter, little changes that companies make over the span of a couple month that other customers may or may not notice are pretty jarring to me. First and foremost is the rebate program for your renewal, when I first started going it was applied automatically when you were issued your new card because of course you renewed the card only lasts a year. Now you need to provide a copy of your “receipt” within 30 days. Stock up in June return in August no problem, return in December now there is no rebate. They used to wrap up your package in a branded bag, today I got a brown paper lunch bag. Staff that was knowledgeable is replaced with people too messed up on the product to make change (in the store’s defense this happened on my last visit.) but all of these things culminate in decisions by customers to go elsewhere. If the pricing was more competitive, or more comparable to the experience (wal mart weed vs Apple Store weed) I would gladly keep using this location, unfortunately it isn’t. It was cool while it lasted, but I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
