HYBRID
Mazar, also known as Mazar-I-Shariff, is a well-known strain named for the city in Northern Afghanistan from which the strain originated. It is also known as Afghan Skunk, or Skunk #1. The top reported aromas are hash, fruit, citrus, and floral. The top reported flavors are similar with a strong hash flavor and undertones of fruit and flowers.
Grow Information
Mazar can be grown outdoors but has a harvest time of early November, making it a strain better suited for indoor growing to avoid frost or mold. When allowed the room for growth, the plants can reach a height of 1-4 meters, and are hearty, vigorous growers with an excellent yield. These plants are particularly well-suited for the Screen of Green, or SCROG, growing method, which uses a screen to maximize light exposure and hold back the tops of the growing canopy. The screen can be as simple as chicken wire, but it maximizes the growing potential for a higher resulting yield from the harvest.
