Kannabia Seed Company created Russian Doll as a combination of Northern Lights, AK-47, and an unspecified sativa landrace from the Kuban region of southern Russia. The breeder Kalashnikov Seeds has a strain with the same genetics called Kubanskiy Ubiyza (Killer from Kuban). The top reported aromas of the Russian Doll strain are earth, herbs, and citrus. It is said to taste of lemon, pine, and herbs.

Russian Doll is a sativa-dominant hybrid that’s a three-way cross of Northern Lights, AK-47, and a Russian sativa landrace. It produces medium-sized plants with fast flowering, dense foliage, and resistance to most pests and molds. The strain thrives both indoors and outdoors, reaching maturity in 56 to 63 days or late September, respectively. Russian Doll produces high yields — up to 24 ounces of bud per plant — when raised in ideal conditions. Russian Doll is available as seeds only. Clones may be available directly from cultivators growing this strain.
