HYBRID
The renowned DJ Short developed Vanilluna as a Kush-esque cross between a female Blueberry sativa and the breeder's original Blueberry male, considered a "stretch" indica. Consumers cite the strain's namesake for its aroma, which features a blend of vanilla and honeyed fruit mixed with lavender. Upon smoking, Vanilluna greets the taste buds with a sugary mix of blueberry, honeydew, and vanilla.
Grow Information
DJ Short reports Vanilluna features structures similar to many Kush strains, with a single stem, broad fan leaves, and relatively tall heights. Cultivators may want to develop more experience before attempting to grow Vanilluna as the plant requires pruning to allow light and air circulation to the lower branches as well as monitoring to fend off unwanted moisture. Growers can utilize the Sea of Green method to keep nutrients and light evenly distributed. Vanilluna reaches full maturity in 63 days and early October when raised outdoors. Vanilluna seeds are commercially available.
