After the album's opening chords, I was half expecting "There is a town in north Ontario" to come mumbling out of the Connecticut-raised, Oregon-residing musician's mouth. What unfolds isn't far off. Nestle down to the country rock warmth emanating from Earth Trip, a comforting jaunt that renders my ears helpless to resist.
