It was a dark and stormy night near the International Storytelling Center. Our tale begins with the protagonist (me) scouting locations for boating the Nolichucky River. The waters were heavy that day, boating and camping prospects had been pinpointed after meticulous searching. The Yelp App was opened as to procure some sustenance in the quaint town of Jonesborough, TN. Perusing possibilities, a familiar term arose, taking precedence over any take out food. "Delta-Nine". Eastern Tennessee has always been one of the Nation's top producers of Cannabis. Of course, what is grown is Legal CBD. Family farms with wholesome values produce some of the best flowers on the East Coast. Knowing this, I rolled through the menu from Delta Nine Delivery. I was absolutely thrilled to see how honest, thorough, and legitimate provisions from this family ran business were presented. The Proprietors obviously work closely with the Growers. Laboratory statistics are provided, listing various compounds such as CBD percentages, terpene presences, and verifying a safe, hazardous chemical free product. Terpenes change in the presence of other compounds in a phenomenon known as the entourage effect. This was pretty epic, as were the prices of their offerings. Covid-19 regulations were still in effect, so I called for a curbside pickup. I spoke with the Proprietor and he said the storefront was Open! Very clean and professional shop. The Co-Owner was welcoming and knowledgeable. She already had my medicine ready when I arrived. There were many other products besides the flower I procured. Edibles, Cartridges, Isolates. Overwhelmed with options, I promised her I would return with friends. The Curbside Special was Mix/Match 4 Grams Flower for $20. She gifted me one extra gram. I call Free Flower "Kind Bud" and I give thanks. I met her partner on the way out and he was really nice as well. Excellent Customer Service, as he asked if I found everything I needed. Yes, I did, and then some. I could have spoken about the industry with him for quite a while, as I felt we were like minded. I thanked him and headed home to what some say is the East Coast Cannabis Capital. Asheville, North Carolina. I have 3 dispensaries in my neighborhood and at least 12 in Town. There is no CBD in Asheville that comes close to Delta Nine's offerings. There are chain stores here and many entrepreneurs on the "CBD Bandwagon". Many are ambiguous or simply unaware of what they have. CBD Percentages are often overlooked, prices are super inflated, Staff do not know the difference between Isolates and Distillates, Indicas and Sativas, and strain lineages are unknown. Growers are inexperienced at Organic production. Typically, they have seed money and must learn processes for Cannabis Production. My business partner is a locally renowned Organic Farmer of Vegetables. He does consultations and I have met some of the students. Honestly, one cannot learn to Grow in one Season. It is a passion that takes many years to practice and perfect. What I have seen grown here usually is brown, odorless, and poorly trimmed. I have also seen tinctures as low as 10% CBD selling for $100. What is my point? Drive the hour up to Jonesborough, TN. Look at the menu, the laboratory specifications, and ask questions. Delta Nine Dispensary : Legitimately saving lives and improving the well being of society, one puff at a time.
