Very disappointed with this Curaleaf in Gainesville as it used to be such a pleasure to do business with but this past experience has ultimately pushed me from wanting to do any more business with them as its clear they do not focus on the patient. As many of you are probably already aware, Curaleaf delivery service is extremely slow, disorganized, and now unreliable. I placed my medical order on 08/31/22. No communication was ever sent, unlike they normally do. I am used to getting the "we are preparing your order" texts and the "order is ready" texts. None. Zero. Okay so I called on 09/02/2022 and confirmed they got my order and that they are "almost caught up with orders" but they reassured me that someone would contact me the day they would deliver but it would most likely be either 09/03/2022 or the following Monday on 09/05/2022. I didn't get a call on 09/03/2022 in the morning at all like they said they would. Apparently they decided to just show up to my house (I live in a very remote area on 5-acreas with livestock and animals). We keep our gates closed when we aren't expecting anybody as we do have security dogs as well as motion sensors and security cameras. Our gates have multiple signs posting to call when at the gate (so that we can hear them and put up the dogs, open gate, etc.). And on the days I get confirmation, I just put up all the animals and have the gate open for their arrival. At around 11:30 my front motion sensor went off but by the time I got the the front of our property, no one was there so I figured it was an animal that tripped it. Well it wasn't. Instead I discovered around 6:20P that "someone" left a post-it note to inform me to call some unknown number (which noone answered) regarding my medical delivery attempt. At first I was confused as to who showed up so I called Curaleaf just in case it was them since the unknown number isn't picking up. After listening to the longest auto prompt (hit number 8 to speak to a rep at site) I get to speak to a gentleman and advised him of the situation. He was understanding and apologetic as I told him the situation and my frustration about how things went down as this past experiences have never been this horrible (and I don't mean that lightly). He then placed me on hold to speak to the manager Chris. After getting disconnected two times, I was finally able to get through to speak to Chris. Chris was very fast to defend his employees and said that they did try to call me at 10:30AM. I advised him that I did not receive the call at all. In fact I was so distraught I contact my cellphone provider and they too confirmed there wasn't a call received. Also concerning, I never got the text they send when their driver is enroute. They send a text that would allow you to see where they driver was. Never got that either. Chris seemed to be stuck on the fact of defending his employees. That is when I inform him that I spoke to one of his reps on 09/02/2022 and that rep told me basically to wait for it on Monday but they WILL CONTACT ME. I also told him that I didn't get a call when they were outside and remined him that I had signs posted with my number and to call. He informed me that they cannot make special accommodations for every customer. Taken further back by his response, I then asked him what should I do then? Call every day? He then threatened me that then they would just stop selling to me. SO then I had to disclose that I have panic disorder and therefore communication is needed and since I do not know their delivery policies I have to depend on them for information. He then said that they just made this new policy that they are no longer delivering in my area. I asked if there is a closer store - no. Is there any plans on opening a location - nope. He didn't seem to care, after all I'm just another customer. After experiencing his lack of care, I knew he would be to properly address this matter. I had to then lead him through possible solutions. The outcome is he has the house landline number for them to call, and that I am back on the "list" which means it can take up to wend 09/07/2022 now.
