In 1928, following his leadership of America’s first tank corps in World War I and before his legendary exploits in World War II, George S. Patton and his wife Beatrice purchased a horse farm in Hamilton, Massachusetts, on Boston’s North Shore. They named the place “Green Meadows.” Patton’s son and namesake, George Patton IV, himself a highly decorated major general with multiple combat tours in Korea and Vietnam, retired to Green Meadows in 1980. He set about converting the land to a “pick your own” blueberry farm. It evolved to a commercial farm stand and ultimately to a Community Supported Agriculture Collective offering local-grown, organic-certified produce. The family’s commitment to sustainable agriculture was cemented.

Horrible customer service, mediocre product line. After being a loyal customer for over 10 years, I am done. There have been issues over the years with either the product or their advertising partner Medwell. These were always resolved quickly and professionally. This visit was horrible. The staff member who served me went out of her to try to make this visit a nightmare. I’m done. Even with the medical discount, it’s not worth the hassle. There is a dispensary on every block filled with staff who like to help their customers.
