Grey Area is a tiny place with a huge reputation. It has some of the finest weed anywhere in the known universe and a special vibe. There isn't room for everyone at once though. It was originally created by two American enthusiasts known as "The Chiefs". Steve is partying out east somewhere now and Jon has a new assistant. It used to close on Mondays but is open all week now. The shop is a Mecca for American tourists visiting Amsterdam. On the wall is a clock to show that it's always 4:20 and the music is usually old American rock. Glass bongs are available. The shop has won multiple awards including 2012 High Times Amsterdam cannabis cup 3rd place flower with their famous Evergrey. They have won the High Times cannabis cup dating back to the first year of the shop opening in 1994 with AK-47 coming in 3rd place. Priding themselves for a high trichome content, this coffeeshop is a must-visit when in Amsterdam.
