Higher Love mass fires their employees at the Ironwood MI store on faaar to frequent a basis. The town is small, and when I worked there, they fired 6 managers without warning. They also had nothing in place for the vacancies they forced on us, actually making me have to work the manager role without additional pay for a while, which sucked since I'd only just been promoted to a team leader less than a weak prior. Now, the mass firing that occurred on 12/15/2025 was between 10-15 employees and they did it by email in the dead of night, because they didn't have the professionalism to fire them all to their faces. My news feed flooded with distraught people who couldn't believe they were fired the way they were 10 days before Christmas. This establishment is corrupt to the extreme and does not deserve the support of the community it continues to disrespect. Instead they deserve to finally feel the consequences for their actions. So, if you care about your money at all, including how far it stretches, this place doesn't deserve it from you. The truth is, they are the most expensive dispensary in this area, and the locals know it. Due to said mass firings, Levels has most of Higher Loves previously best employees annnd Levels has the better prices. I'm a fan of their amnesia 5 for 25 pre-rolls. So, if your morals aren't swayed by knowing they aren't an ethical company, then perhaps understanding that it's literally the "stupidly overpriced and overhyped" place in this town and there are literally cheaper and more ethical places within a 2 block radius of Higher Love. I have nothing bad to say about Rise or Firestation either, I just know how well my old coworkers know their stuff about the product they sell and their prices are on the cheaper side for in the area. *to Higher Love: do better, the community is chanting boycott
