You can get a medical marijuana ID card with a physician’s recommendation. Medical marijuana ID cards are voluntary. Individuals purchasing cannabis with a medical recommendation will be charged a 15% State Excise Tax, a 9.50% Sales Tax, and a 5 % City Tax.
