Located in the center of Los Angeles since 2012, Mecca Mid City is a female owned and operated cannabis retailer and the homebase for the Mecca brand of products. We are the proud recipient of multiple licenses in the cannabis space including retail, delivery, distribution, manufacturing, and cultivation and are actively seeking to expand. Our flagship location is an alluring balance of modern and old-world design, an oasis in the heart of the city. 

Our inspiration stems from ancient Hindu texts dating back to 4000 years ago, describing the role cannabis played in spiritual rituals. Legends detailed cannabis as one of the five sacred plants, connecting people and elevating consciousness. Mecca reflects the way we see cannabis and its role in bringing people together, by being the catalyst to embarking on your own personal journey. 

Our brand signature is a stylized environment that makes all feel welcomed and comfortable, with the pulse on cannabis culture. We offer a wide array of strain and price options featuring classic and trending strains, with an emphasis on potency, terpenes, and freshness. Product consistency and integrity is key to maintaining customer trust. Friendly, highly trained staff seamlessly guide guests from start to finish. Starting as a cultivator, the owner has worked in cannabis for 20 years, lending her expertise to the most sought-after products and memorable retail experiences. The transition from the traditional to the legal market came with many obstacles, but her determination and adaptability have carried through. She gets the most joy from seeing the excitement on a customer’s face, the instilled confidence of an employee, and the diversity of the Mecca community. To this day, she personally curates every flower on the shelf.  

Open daily 8AM - 9:55PM. Minimum 18 years old with CA doctor's rec & CA residency or 21 years & older with valid ID. Out of state ID's ok! 1oz limit for recreational use, 8oz limit for those with doctor rec or MMIC card. ATM on site and debit cards accepted.
