)After ten years of being a loyal customer at this dispensary, and giving rave reviews in the past, I am sad to be posting negatively. Reason #1 -NH&W Log Lane was one of the first dispensaries to open in the Northeast corner of Colorado, and one of the first to offer in-house concentrates (shatter is my choice). I used their branded product for many years, until they changed it. The in-house product is now labeled as "Exquisite Concentrates". The shatter comes in a glass jar similar to how wax is normally sold, instead of a slab wrapped in parchment or wax paper. The shatter is usually a melted, clear blob of concentrate goo instead of having the classic shatter physical properties. The product is actually quite tasty, and certainly does the trick, but scraping it out of those glass jars with a dab tool defeats the reason I prefer shatter. After getting all I could out of a container, I could tell there was a significant amount of product stuck to the glass. After using 16 jars, I heated up a pan of water and warmed the containers to melt the wax. From those 16 one gram jars, I reclaimed 2.12 grams of concentrate. That's almost 15% waste unless you spend an hour reclaiming, as I did. Reason #2 - I have been getting a veteran discount from NH&W in Log Lane, and closer to my home at NH&W in Sedgewick. I've been receiving this discount as long as I've been a customer. Today, I was denied the same discount. The explanation I was given, is that the product was already discounted. This is the same product, and the same order as I've been buying for many months. The final cost of my order in the past has been roughly $105 in Log Lane, and $125 in Sedgewick. Today my order in Log Lane came out to $140. How is that discounted? The recreational marijuana landscape has changed drastically from ten years ago, and NH&W is moving backwards. It's time for me to find a new provider. I won't be returning.
