I’ve been shopping at Rise for almost two years and usually have a good experience, which is why this visit was especially frustrating. I placed an order for one ounce of flower and two grams of RSO. When I arrived, I was told I could not purchase the RSO unless I first spoke with a pharmacist. What didn’t make sense is that they were still willing to sell me the flower just not the RSO. The RSO was the main reason for my visit, so I declined the purchase and left. I had driven an hour to get there, and this requirement was never communicated ahead of time. I understand safety and regulations, but denying part of a medical patient’s order without prior notice is unacceptable. Medical patients deserve clear expectations before placing an order. This experience was disappointing.
