I have been a long time patron of Rise in Silver Spring and was really disappointed with my last visit. I came in to return a faulty piece of equipment (for the second time in less than a week) and was met with a less than favorable outcome.The product died 48 hours after purchase and I wanted to ask if they could replace it or give credit towards another item. The supervisor did not do anything to “make it right”. He shot down the request to replace the malfunctioning item told me there was nothing he could do. He did not try to cross reference the point of sale or check history of the purchased item. He let me know it was against their policy to fix the situation. It’s against my “policy” to throw money in the trash but I was being asked to do just that. This new industry is regulated and the products sold are the same in this marketplace. I choose where I support solely based upon how I’m treated and the knowledge of the bud tenders behind the counter. Customer Service is everything and leaving the establishment feeling like you were take care is the deciding factor.Customer retention is definitely not a priority. Won’t return.
