Established in 2013 This business started because of a desire of one of the owners to quit smoking. She attempted to quit using the little electronic cigarettes that look just like regular cigarettes which today are dominated by the tobacco companies. The other owner used to be a truckdriver and one of the companies he worked for started because of the owner needing to have a reliable way to get his crops to market and feed to his farm. Hence A Healthy Alternative which is inside of The Outpost was born. Claudia handles the majority of the sales and Don blends the e liquids. In September of 2013 they set up shop at the Flea Market in Chiefland Florida and soon outgrew the space, relocating to their current location in front of The Flying Hawk in Old Town where they are better able to serve their customers.
