Uncle Pete runs a smooth (if somewhat unique) operation. A very friendly guy, Peter Tranchemontagne offers a great assortment of products from quality vendors to complement his own products. No fancy storefront or cushy showroom. Order online and conduct your business in the driveway. Sounds sketchy, but it was all very safe and professional. The savings from not having a store is passed directly to the customer. Peter is probably the low-cost-provider for most of what he sells. His home-grown brand is as good as any big corporate operation. It's cash only. Strictly legal. But, a typical purchase visit is like seeing an old friend. Not a fancy operation, but run by a guy who does it as a service to others ... not for a profit ... and it shows. I like to support businesses run by good people, so I plan to be a customer of Uncle Pete's for the rest of my days.
