I purchased a hydroponic system from this company. I discovered a safety issue with the controller whereby it reversed the polarity of the outlets, an unsafe situation for submersible pumps. I wanted to bring it in to show them the issue, but what happened was unreal. Apparently only one person can handle returns, and in my attempt to contact that person I was told, "I can't have him call you back because I don't have a pen," I was told I would have to wait three days for him to return, when I arrived three days later I was told I would have to wait 20 minutes for him to return from the bank, when I asked if they could just videotape my demonstration I was told "No, he will be here in a minute" (I thought it was 20). I said it could be difficult to judge when someone will return, so could he call him to find out, and during the call he repeatedly told the manager that I was impatient. When he learned the manager would not be returning anytime soon, he suggested he would videotape it. But then he started lecturing me that he had other customers to deal with. I pointed out that I saw no customers and that he was just sitting behind the counter. He accused me of being sarcastic and coming in the store and telling everyone what to do. I worked professionally with emotionally disturbed people, and he exhibited similar behaviors. His responses to me were so erratic that I turned on my video and put my phone in my pocket so as not to be in his face about it. Another employee noticed it, and I was told I had to turn off my video. I explained that I grew concerned for my safety when he became belligerent for no reason, but he asked me to leave. When I asked if the store had a written policy that people cannot videotape in their store, he said, "Yes." I suppose if you are going to treat customers so poorly, you don't want the world knowing about it.
