My son and his wife sent me a "care package" for Christmas, full of local products they know I like. In the box, this year, was a package of Harvest Herb Company's "French Canadian Soup" mix. The directions call for salt pork to be used when making the soup, but I didn't have any - I diced up some ham left over from Christmas and browned it in bacon grease. Then I used it with the soup mix - WOW! Delicious. I don't know what else they sell, but I have become a believer in their French Canadian Pea Soup Mix!
