Established in 1995 Hummingbird Herbals was created in Durango, Colorado by Clinical Herbalist Melanie Rose. Over the next decade, it grew from a small herb stand in the back of the Steaming Bean Coffee House into a full retail shop and healing center. In 2007, Melanie's apprentice took over the business, giving it a new home off the beaten path and focusing more on the medicinal herbs and less on the body care products, offering a top-quality herbal pharmacy to local Naturopathic Doctors and their patients, and continuing to offer products online and in area stores.
