Established in 2002 Dr. Sanchez, the on-staff physician at Lotus Acupuncture and Herbs, began his studies at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine., passed three National Board tests, and went on to Intern at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing, focusing his internship there in Acupuncture, Tui Na, and Herbology. He started his practice in 2002 and has been in practice ever since. He completed valuable studies with Dr. Susan Johnson learning the most effective, Master Tung's Style Acupuncture, recognized for its immediate results. He completed another internship in Tui Na at the Temple Hospital in Beijing, under the tutelage of Dr. Yang. He is proud of being a student and friend of one of the best diagnosticians and herbologists in the USA, Dr. Jimmy Wei Yen Chang, with whom he has had the pleasure of studying for 18+ years. Dr. Chang taught and continues to teach him, advanced pulse-taking techniques and advanced Herbology which really sets him apart from other Acupuncturists.
