I placed an order at cigar.com for their special 10 cigars for 49.99 the selection was small but overall mostly decent deflection of cigars. I chose three day guaranteed shipping. Then, I submitted my age verification as required by California law. Four days later I'm informed there's an issue with my age verification. I received an email at 4:41 pm PST/PDT informing me of this issue. I then call in and find out that department already closed and I'll have to call back tomorrow. I ask why send out an email when you're walking out unless you do not care about the customer. Then to top it off, I was told that the shipping I paid for the guaranteed three (3) day shipping can take upto five (5) days the 3-5 day shipping was only 6.99 I believe. So they charged me extra money for the "three day shipping" but but they added italicized writing that says it can take up to five days for delivery not three days. How in the hell, dose small print that says that and the three day shipping guarantee be okay? They charge you more money for faster shipping (or so we're led to believe) and think they can get away with it? Simply by saying oh well we have the "italicize writing" at the bottom of the order for you see it's there. Out that in extremely large font not small italicize font.
