Went into Applejacks, Denton Texas back in Oct. 2021 to order over 750 dollars worth of alcohol for our wedding. This liquor store was on the recommended vendor list provided to us by our venue. We gave the date which happens to fall on a Sunday and no issues by 3 different employees regarding the day of the week ,delivery date ,time or location were shared AND this same info was printed out on the invoice. We checked in two days prior and the guy told us that they would call us as soon as order was pulled and he mentioned that would probably be by Thursday. So when then receive a call again regarding if we still needed our order , we verified we did and on Thursday night at 5 ish pm we received a call stating they are not going to be able to delivery our order because they are closed on Sundays! We had to drive to Denton to pick up order and these people gave us a 32 dollar discount. I am sure this would have been handled differently if we looked different! I would never recommend this business to anyone. Knowing the pressure placed on brides and grooms days before a wedding , especially since the last employee we dealt with had just returned from being married you would think he would sympathize more with us and do better on accommodating us! #disappointed
