I was in this Tobacco shop on July 4th, 2020. I chose two bags of roll your own pipe tobacco. Went to the counter to pay for the product. i simply asked the lady at the checkout counter why her price exceeded the market price by $5.00 compared to another mom and pop store located in another Missouri town. she could say nothing else other than this was the product she offered and it was at cost plus her profit.That was agreeable to me. However it is a fact that anyone can purchase at cost plus profit at $5,00 lower than her store. it was more her bad attitude than anything else as she took it as offensive that I as a consumer dare to ask the question. Furthermore I paid with my WALMART MONEYCARD that she insulted me with. I asked for the total which was $17.33 but she failed to tell me that her card processor was charging me an additional 65 cents. i moved the $17.33 but then she told me my funds were insufficient. This upset the owner. Under full disclosure laws these processing fees must be made known to the customer or absorbed by the retailer. I will not shop at this store ever again!
