I do not use tobacco and don't know anything about cigars. My dad loves them. Since it was near Father's Day and I was in town for the weekend, I decided to get him a couple. The lady was nice, and I thought I was making a good purchase, relying solely on her expertise. I asked her about a brand I thought dad liked, and said I needed it to survive in the mail to Washington state. I got a Macanudo Rothschild in a sealed pack and a Monte Cristo Kilamanjaro to send to my dad. When I got back home, I found out Washington only allows shipping of tobacco from dealers! Worse yet, she over charged me nearly 2x for each. I paid 12.60 for the Macanudo and 16.60 for the Monte Cristo; which after the outrageous sales tax of %9.5 ; made my total over $32.00 for only two cigars which locally I could get a box of ten for the same price!! Now, I can't send these and I can't sell them to break even. The msrp on these is at $6.99 and $8.50 respectively, and I can understand making a profit, but the average store only charges $9.00 and $10.80 for these! This place is a rip-off and obviously does not care about fleecing tourists. I learned my lesson and will not be buying cigars again, especially when in Eureka Springs! Btw, this place is now in the Eureka Springs village at 306 Village Circle; they recently moved.
