Established in 1995 We started as Daydreams, founded by two local Deadheads, Kathy & Jerry, who thought more "peace, love & rock 'n roll" is exactly what Iowa needed. When Kathy & Jerry both had passed on to the Great Festival in the Sky, long-time college friend & Iowa native, Elaine, rescued the store from suffering the same fate. But, alas, the name could not be saved & we became Groovy Goods. The support of our community made it possible to expand to a larger location just a few doors down on University to the corner of 24th Street. Grateful to be here!
