AVOID AT ALL COSTS! THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE. OWNER IS A JACKASS AND DOESN'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS! The absolute rudest person I've ever met. My son was 2 feet behind me as I was looking at the small scales As you walk in. I asked the Hindi owner what his cheapest scale was. 1st he said he didn't have any, then he said "$29.99" after seeing one for $14.99, I asked to look at it. My son had touched something, he's 6, and he's a kid. This rude, obnoxious owner asks my son to not touch anything after I had already told him. This rude man then goes into a speech, talking to my son I think, about if something gets broken that we will say it's ok and he will have to argue with me about it. I told him, no there wouldn't be an argument, I would pay for anything he broke. To which the loud owner said "everyone say dat, no one ever mean it" and again I said that I was a business owner and retail worker, and before I could finish my sentence he was rudely interrupting me saying that "dat wat everyboay says." So I go to pay and he asks me if I was paying by debit or credit card. I replied "whichever one is easier for you " and his exact response was "nothing easy" and he kept rudely rambling on until I said I just wanted to know which was cheaper for him to ring up, a debit or credit. I tried to explain that my family had a business down the road and he cut me off to tell me he's been there 13 years, why, I don't know. I was trying to explain that some credit machines take a percentage and some debit cards are a flat fee and I just wanted to see what was the cheapest. I chose debit because I know it's more expensive. Every time I tried to say anything, he would interrupt me and assume that he knows how every person says one thing and does another. As I was leaving The door was open and I was outside & he was still blabbering rudely. So I basically told him that I've never seen or ever heard of a person who was as rude as he was, during every step of the transaction. He had a rude comment or interrupted everything I was trying to say. Easily The rudest person in retail I've ever spoken with, and That includes owners AND customers. I tried to show him that I could pay for the $7 item my son touched by showing him one of my investment accounts with 2 commas in it, trying to show him i could pay for anything and everything that my son breaks. I hate when people show or say how much money they have, but I wanted to let this rude, bad breath beast that I'm not the conman who was charging $24-$50 for items you can get on eBay or amazon for $10 and under. Not only is he rude, but he's taken over $12,000 in loans that he doesn't have to pay back to help him "provide paychecks" for his employees. I wonder what the irs would say if they found out that he is the ONLY person working there. (Loan pictured below) So if you're in the area, looking for a smoke shop, go 3 minutes down del Prado to "up in smoke" SSS smoke shop literally means "Super Sh!//y Service" So Shop Somewhere else. It's bad enough to have to try and argue about something that would help him, and I don't really think he cares about anything. He's extremely rude and has ripped off the IRS. I just hope he can pray enough to receive forgiveness, because I would only go back inside to drop something on purpose and walk out.
