I am a local who has been shopping at the Happy Hippie for awhile. Recently I decided to splurge on a beautiful pipe. I had the pipe for less than 24 hours, dropped it and it shattered. I understand these things can happen but the owner refused to offer me anything just saying I was out the $65. I was never rude or not understanding of the situation and never expected my money back or anything but I would have been happy with a discount on my next pipe purchase from her. I think that is a completely unreasonable way to treat locals who bring you all sorts of business. There are plenty of other places in the area that have the same thing they offer at around the same price but better, fresher availability.
