Established in 2010 Phil Segal spent 25 Years in the Chemical Industry and became a Cigar Enthusiast. When the opportunity presented itself and he found an area of the Piedmont Triad that was under served, he founded Havana Phil's on Battleground Avenue in a rented space. In March of 2015 Phil purchased the former site of an iconic restaurant, Cellar Antons, in the heart of Midtown 2 miles toward town from his original building. After a year of renovations, Havana Phil's moved to its present location at 1628 Battleground Ave. adding a Davidoff Lounge to the store which is a Rocky Patel Lounge. Projected opening for the Davidoff Lounge is April 2016 which will be a full service Private Membership Cigar Lounge with a fully stocked bar, so patrons can enjoy their favorite beverage with their cigars in a quiet, relaxing and beautiful space.
