I'm usually a fan of Smoke depot but this location and whomever (Smoke Depot store associate) gave us bad Intel wronged us. Enduring more than thirty minutes of commuting traffic for nothing. A friend was looking to purchase a DaVinci Miqro. Which is a device for smoking flower known to most as a fresh herb vaporizer. DaVinci is one of the top brands. Most Chicago retailers offer DaVinci products for the same rate as the company maker or slightly higher. I understand they want to make a little coin above the internet pricing but wow was it hella expensive here. They were charging a premium and the display box was withered. The store sits on Harlem and gets a lot of direct sunlight. So, the display box had been sitting in all that sun and lost coloring and looked dated. Most store owners would note this and give some sort of discount. None was offered so we ended up at a different retailer. Smoke Depot in general can be a one stop shop for all your smoking paraphernalia. Screens, hookahs, bongs, dab rigs, herb containers, recyclers, etc. Just a note; keep your masks on and wash any glass you buy prior to use. Isopropyl alcohol and salt is the best concoction to use to keep those "tools" clean. Most dollar stores will have both on hand. Good to know: Some price haggling can occur but usually they would want to add you onto their loyalty program to rack up points for future purchases. Never hurts to ask though. Know your grinders. I hate overpaying for a crappy (not true to brand) grinder, it happens. At different times they may have a selection of screens, so ask. Glass is reusable and a cleaner option than the typical metal kinds.
