I feel like after looking at the other reviews/reviewers pictures that they are just the employees that work there. Smoke shops are my forte, I've managed/worked operations for multiple in Austin, I love the products and the unique atmospheres they produce. They are quite plentiful in a city like Austin, I make it a point to check out a couple news ones in the city every week and have mapped out/been to almost 200 (vape/kratom&cbd/head&gift shops included) in Austin and surrounding areas. That being said, I try to go to a shop multiple times before writing a review to account for some off/bad days as far as employee vibes and stock limitations or any range of things that can affect the experience. Now that I've covered that, I have to say I was really disappointed with how this shop is run, (I live near by so I was really excited when a new shop opened up in such a close vicinity) the employee I've encountered every time-who may be the manager- is often unfriendly and hovers on me throughout my whole visit, also there's a large hesitation to pull out any products for closer inspection, and acts as if someone having knowledge of a lot of the products is somehow a threat/reason to be short and condescending.. I was treated as if me browsing was a burden and they were pushy on knowing what exactly I wanted and how much I was willing to spend, when I had made it clear I like to buy all sorts of products and that I tend to spend a lot of money and time going to shops. They do have a nice large selection of disposable vapes which I appreciate, some of which I' haven't seen but in a few shops in Austin, although they are at least a couple-to a handful of dollars per vape more expensive than most places. Definitely have some cool hand pipes from Mad Scientist glass and some random accessories that are neat which is the only reason for the extra star. Basically if you're going for anything other than a in-n-out trip to get some Kratom or Delta 8 than I would avoid this shop entirely. I really hope y'all can lighten up the atmosphere and be more friendly and accommodating to customers, making people feel welcome is one of the most important things to a successful shop.
