Established in 1987 Stairway to Heaven opened in 1987 as the first head shop in Ann Arbor, selling a vast array of smoking paraphernalia and old school decor. Family-owned since then, Stairway became a staple of the town for Michigan-made glass products, posters, band-t-shirts, and much more. Now one of the last remaining local businesses, the store has evolved to combine the traditional hippy stock with modern equipment, such as concentrate supplies and all kinds of vaporizer.
