I have been a regular at the store for 3 years, spending about $70/week at that store because they deliver. They charge flat rate $10 even if you're couple miles away. Recently they haven't been on top of their customer service & literally for some reason skipping the delivery of my orders & end up getting my order late - which I didn't mind or even blamed them for it, I understand they've only one driver but the last incident was very interesting- I didn't get my order at all that day. I placed my order like every time for the 6 pm delivery slot, I called around 7ish to check the status they said the driver didn't pick up my order yet from the store & will pick it up in 8 minutes & will deliver it to you, so give it like another hour. Still nothing, I called again around 10 (that's when the store closes) & I really just need to know if it's going to happen or not so go & buy my stuff on my own before all the store close & I end up with nothing at the end, someone else answered & told me: yeah the driver ended up not picking up your order for some nonsense reason (mixed up tags) - well, thanks for not letting me know - still I politely said ok, I just need to know so I can move on & said what's the latest I can deliver it to you? I said around 10:30 -11 pm otherwise i would be asleep. He said ok, I'll leave now. Great news! I kept waiting & waiting till next day 1 am, of course a lost cause, I simply left my place & bought my stuff from a different store - luckily was still open. I get up in the morning & I see my order that was supposed to be delivered yesterday at the door, definitely I called them & explained politely the situation & the fact I no longer needed, that order was placed to be delivered a day before- I already wasted my time & waited for 7 hours & got nothing at the end- not even a call to lmk the delivery won't happen that day. They picked the order. A few hours later I got a call from the store - I was expecting an apology for the terrible customer service & the poor communication with the customer- but he blatantly told me we decided not to take any of your orders anymore given the recent issues. Instead of fixing their customer service issues, they're dumping their customers - Great job! They really know how to run a business. Well, I am simply taking my business somewhere else.
