I came here on a Friday. I got my helix pierced. The young girl at the counter was not very friendly, she did not have much personality. When I sat down to get pierced, she asked me if I wanted to get it done with a gun or needle. I obviously said a needle because a gun is so unsanitary. The only reason I went along with the piercing was because the needles were packaged and she wore gloves - But - here is another red flag - She was ready to mark me up and insert the needle - without even cleaning and disinfecting the area. When I asked her if she was going to clean it with alcohol, she asked me "Do you want me to"? Really?! That right there let me know that she does not have experience in piercing. Piece of advice to the owner of this place - teach the piercers to automatically clean the piercing areas with alcohol. Teach them to disinfect the areas that are going to be pierced. That is just common sense and proper hygiene ethic. The earring she used was not one that I chose, and I didn't realize it until after it was done - but at this point, I cannot do anything about it. I just hope it heals properly. I hear the owner here is good at piercing and I wish she would have been there because I would have asked her to do it. We will see how it heals - but they need better piercers. I will not be back.
