Came to a private cigar event for $200 for the establishments $40 year anniversary. The event was very well done, but a part of it was to include a raffle. Instead of announcing numbers, so everyone could hear and see, employees walked around and handed out the prizes to people who they knew. When I asked the manager as to the methodology, I was told that he ran random numbers from the computer and all prizes were given out. When I asked why employees knew all of the winners by name and why the raffle wasn't conducted in a transparent fashion, he shrugged his shoulders and didn't have an answer. . A very distasteful end to what was a wonderful evening. I am angry and disappointed. .
