I think that if your website says that a specific store location has a specific item in stock, it should actually be in stock. I wouldn't think that that's too much to ask, but for Total Wine it is. I drove out to this location. Couldn't find what I was looking for, showed an employee their site on my phone saying the gin was in stock in the West Orange store but was told they don't carry it, aren't approved to carry it and 'sorry'. Took a look around to see if the trip was salvageable, and while they have a large selection, their pricing is notably higher than other local shops that could be considered comparable: Vine Republic, Wine Library or Gary's for instance. All of whom - in my experience - have on their shelves what their sites say they do. Save yourself the trip and some cash and shop elsewhere.
