I called this company this afternoon and was greeted by a very unprofessional and sarcastic woman. I inquired of them holding many pall mall cigarette cartons for me to pick up and pay for tomorrow. She said the most they can hold is 4 and that they have to reserve a supply available for local regular customers as opposed to myself. I told her I'm from Des Plaines and other cigarette dealers had no problem in filling and holding regular large orders for me to pick up despite where I am from. She also hurried me off the phone saying she was very busy and would not give me a cost total for the 4 cartons. She said goodbye while I was still talking and hung up on me! I called back later and spoke to a man I believe was the owner. He was very unreceptive toward holding the 4 cartons for me saying he would sell them to other people who came in before me. I told him I would be there between 12 and 1 PM tomorrow which he implied would be too late to hold them. I cannot believe the antagonism I received from both people I spoke to who, for some reason, acted non receptive in my doing business with them just because I am not local or a regular customer. They did not realize that if I make large orders with them on a regular basis would be good business for them economically. Such coldness and unprofessionalism I will not tolerate.
