Opportunity and customers, You never pass up an opportunity to make sales or repair customer problems, when issues arise. You also never slam the door on a customer. Two separate, totally unrelated customer service issues with completely and polar opposite results. The first one actually involves me, and 5 minutes of my time,at the end of the day. Then Wednesday, I arrived minutes before closing, at the Smoke and Vape smoke shop here in Kendall and the girl (her name unknown at this point) was trying to high tail it out of the shop, I wanted to exchange something I had purchased there a few weeks ago and I simply wanted to exchange the piece. I think I was given every excuse under the sun as to why she couldn't help me any further that evening. Not only have I not gone back but I don't think I will ever, My 5 five minutes was worth $500,000, I took over a call, at the end of the day, that no one wanted to deal with. Not only did I talk the customer through the whole process of placing such a large order. By the end of the call, we had a deposit to start processing the order. Moral of the story, never try to leave early at the customers expense. You never know if they can make or break you.
