HYBRID
African Queen, aka La Reina de Africa, was created by indoor-grown specialist Fleur de Mal Seeds. The breeder combined the South African landrace Durban (named for the famous port city) with Cinderella 99 to get a strain with Durban’s flavor and C99’s short flowering cycle. The top reported aromas of African Queen are spices, flowers, and wine. And it is said to taste like licorice, pepper, and sweet fruit.
Grow Information
African Queen is a sativa-dominant cross between Durban and Cinderella 99. It produces tall plants with slender leaves thanks to its sativa heritage. It’s tall enough to need some sort of control plan for indoor gardens. African Queen prefers warm climates where it has an average flowering time between 63 and 70 days indoors. In ideal conditions, the strain is known to produce high yields of very resinous buds that are great for making hash. African Queen is best grown indoors. African Queen is available as seeds. Clones may be available directly from cultivators growing this strain.
