Black Kush was created by the breeder The Cali Connection (TCC), which crossed its award-winning GSC (formerly Girl Scout Cookies) and a backcrossed Blackwater to produce this Kush-heavy strain. According to the breeder, Black Kush takes its floral, chocolatey flavor and aroma from its GSC lineage, while the Blackwater ancestry influences the narrowly shaped structure of the plant.
