HYBRID
A cross between Albert Walker, which is an unknown Afghani landrace that was popular in the Pacific Northwest during the 1980s, and Tahoe Alien, Ewok is an indica-dominant strain developed by Alien Genetics. An award-winning strain, Ewok took home first place for best hybrid in the 2013 High Times Cannabis Cup in Seattle. Parent strain Tahoe Alien is a cross between Tahoe OG Kush and Alien Kush, two strains that also belong to the Alien Genetics family.
Grow Information
Packed with an overwhelming aroma said to evoke tangerines, diesel, mint, nuts, and hash, Ewok is praised for smothering tokers in relaxing and euphoric effects. The breeder intended for this strain to produce high yields and fuse the classic Albert Walker with some alien funk. Considered to be a fast-growing plant, Ewok is reported to have a short vegetative cycle and a 56-to-63-day flowering cycle, producing frosty buds that are as hairy as the forest moon-dwelling “Star Wars” universe creature this strain is named after. While Ewok no longer appears to be propagated by Alien Genetics, some online seed banks are carrying what is alleged to be feminized Ewok seeds.
