Loud is a cultivar of mysterious origins, thought to be a backcross of a Blue Dream bred by unknown cultivators. The term "loud" is also slang for potent, pungent cannabis strains. The top reported aromas of the Loud strain are citrus, pineapple, and skunk. It is said to taste like herbs, eucalyptus, and tropical fruit.

Loud is a balanced hybrid cultivar that develops medium-sized plants with decent pest-resistance. The strain prefers semi-humid, warm climates with plentiful sunshine. Growers can tease out purple coloring by exposing their crops to cooler temperatures right before flowering. Loud reaches full maturity in nine to ten weeks indoors and by mid-October outside. Loud is available as seeds and clones.
