According to PJ, who discovered SuperCBDx and founded a company named for the strain, the “CBD Holy Grail” comes from Northern Californian and Spanish genetics carefully bred to produce a high-CBD, low-THC medicinal strain. Lab tests confirm about 17% CBD with very low THC. Accordingly, its effects are relaxing and uplifting with no intoxication, according to SuperCBDx Seeds.

SuperCBDx, a balanced hybrid, is easy to grow indoors or outdoors but does best with plenty of room for the roots to spread out, according to the breeder. The plants are tall, and harvesting early delivers the highest concentrations of CBD. Flowering time is about nine to 10 weeks, according to PJ. Pure SuperCBDx seeds aren’t available since PJ considers them a trade secret but the company has created about 30 crosses with medicinal applications in mind.
