Thunderfuck, also known as Alaskan Thunderfuck, Matanuska Thunderfuck, Matanuska Tundra, or ATF, is a well-known sativa dominant strain originally from the Matanuska Valley region of Alaska. The top reported aromas are pungent odors of pine, lemon, and skunk. The top reported flavors are a strong chemical flavor with hints of lemon and pine.
Grow Information
Thunderfuck was created by crossing an unknown Northern California strain with a Russian ruderalis strain, and then crossing the resulting plant with an Afghani indica landrace strain. It can be cultivated indoors or outdoors, but when cultivated outdoors, it needs a semi-humid environment with consistent daytime sunlight that will result in a mid-October harvest. When grown indoors, it has a flowering time of 9-10 weeks, and its pungent aroma may require some smell-proofing for serious growers.
