Established in 2013 Douglas Cox was a 35-year smoker when his sister took him to a vape shop in St. Louis, Missouri and he was introduced to the world of ecigarettes. Doug had tried to quit smoking before and was unsuccessful until he tried a vaporizer. He was so moved by the impact of the vaporizer and how it changed his life and made him into a healthier person that he felt compelled to open a shop in Springfield, Missouri to help others quit smoking and to provide the level of support and customer service that he experienced in his own quit process. Thus, 417 Vapor was born. Since the company's inception, we have become the premier vapor store in Springfield, Missouri, as well as launching a website to sell our boutique-quality ejuice online, and the newest venture, a second retail location, 816 Vapor, set to open in the Westport area of Kansas City as early as April 2015.
