I've purchased products from this store a few times prior to my experience today . I've met the staff ; friendly , quiet , and knowledgeable about their products , like trying to figure out what's the difference between 3000 puffs and 5000 puffs or knowing what flavors are good would ever be considered as knowledgeable , but okay , knowledgeable - So knowledgeable that they enforce a failure ridden policy to prevent you from ever getting your money's worth or to even feel like you're being taken care of . Guests who spend their hard earned money on an a "healthier" addiction alternative to cigarettes suddenly turns into a scam or an opportunity leverage for these small businesses leaving their guests to buy a defective product while they gain profit . The Policy : Customers have 24 Hours to return defective disposable vapes. (period) - E-Liquids Hawaii In my case , the vape would not charge . I purchased the Elf bar BC5000 , retail price ($26.79 incl . tax) . Which I have explained to the two male associates working today that the battery did not queue me to charge the device until 5 days after the purchase date . How would I have known that it wouldn't charge within the 24 hour window their policy allotted me or anyone whom will know their device is defective within 24 hours ? The worst part about my experience is that the associates recognize me knowing I've purchased many times in the past , categorizes me with situations of past guests taking advantage of the business by trading in defective puff bars , breaks down the policy for me . It gets better,.. the associate then informs me of the sale they are having on the same Elf bar , suggesting me to spend another $19 , plus tax on top of the $26.67 I just lost , calculating to a total of $45.67 plus tax for one 5000 puff disposable vape product and the inconvenience of having to come back to the store to be told that their business sells defective devices to their guests and makes them soak up the lost if they are not bringing it back within 24 hours . The associate with the shaved head , again , suggests that I purchase another device that looked poorly manufactured, probably with a 95% chance of defect device . Why waste my time coming back a third time ? I really felt cheated today and all they could say was "sorry, our policy." Well I'm sorry too . I'm sorry I ever purchased defective products from this business . I am certain I will never bring my business here and I will be informing my family and friends to do the same .
