My husband and I stopped at Exit 1 to refuel our rental car before returning it to Logan Airport. I really, really had to pee, but there was no way I was going to be able to hold it until we got to the airport. I decided it absolutely could not wait and resigned myself to the fact that I would have to use the outdoor restroom at the station. I was not happy about this at all. I walked into the convenience store, which seemed to have just about anything a traveler could possibly need and was immediately greeted by Sam Mousa, the owner of the store. Sam was charming and accommodating. When I told him about my situation, he promptly gave me the keys to the bathroom. As I walked to the side of the building, I steeled myself for the horror show that I was certain I would find behind the locked door. To my great relief and amazement, I found the cleanest gas station restroom that I have ever seen!! Huge relief- huge!! Sam was so great and the restroom so clean, I decided to share it with my fellow Yelpers. If you find yourself on Interstate 93 heading south towards Boston, and you need to pee, refuel, grab a drink or a snack, stop by and see Sam- you won't be disappointed. I promise.
