Established in 2013 History Established in 2013. The Vape Shop was founded in 2013 by Philip Harrell with the close help of longtime friend Mark Scofield. We both were cigarette smokers who switched to vaping. We recognized a need for stores where you could purchase ecig and vaping accessories and decided we would fill that need. We started planning in January of 2013 and we were open for business starting May 5th. Our first location was an inside booth at a huge flea market that was open 3 days a week. We ran it Sat and Sun because of both of our other jobs. As business grew Mark came on full time and we able to open up 3days a week then. A year later in May 2014 We opened the new brick and mortar location in Knoxville. It truely is a dream come true to see all of the people we help with quitting smoking.
